Which folding bike is right for me?
The Brompton bike is made for those that live, work or play in cities. Folding to a third of its size and weighing on average just 11kg for a standard model, the Brompton bike is easy to carry and easy to store. Take it on all forms of transport – rush-hour trains, in the boot of the car or the local taxi boat.
We have changed the way we named our bike models, if you are familiar with our previous naming convention, this guide will help you.

The original design with the 3-part fold, handmade in our London factory since 1975. Compact and robust – it's a seriously engineered bike that’s fun to ride.
In the widest range of colours – whatever your ride style, there’s a C Line for you.
Choose your gears, 2, 3, or 6. Select from 3 types of handlebar and seat posts too. Click luggage into place with the front carrier block (included) or add a rack to load up more. Swap out the saddle for a handmade Brooks, get dynamo lighting that you power yourself.

Brompton C Line Urban: For zipping around the city
With 2 gears, the C Line Urban is lighter to ride and carry than all other C Line models. And with one gear trigger, it’s simple to use. Those that are up and down stairs, walking along platforms and in and out of lifts, will appreciate the benefits of this bike’s lower weight

Brompton C Line Utility: A solid city rider
The 3-speed steel bike with hub gear was the first Brompton made – a solid city rider built for the streets of London. The sealed gears are protected from grit, water and impact for longer life and less maintenance. Easy-to-use hub gears let you shift when stationary making the C Line Utility a solid choice for stop / start commutes, especially in wetter cities.

Brompton C Line Explore: Geared up to go further
You can load this 6-speed all-steel workhorse with luggage and a rack for all-weather commuting or touring, then go explore. Covers all contours, at home or further afield - some owners have cycled these around the world. Most use them to improve their day to day.

The Electric C Line Urban with its simple 2-gear set up is lighter to ride, lighter to carry and easier to maintain. The 250-kwh hub motor and Smart Pedal Assist can be configured to kick-in when you choose. You have the option to change settings as you go. For leisurely commuting and city cruising.

Brompton Electric C Line Explore: Go explore, make it Electric
The Electric C Line Explore can go the distance with 6-gears and a 250-kwh hub motor. Smart Pedal Assist can be configured to kick-in when you choose. You have the option to change settings as you go. Load it up with luggage and a rack. Fold it, ride it, take it anywhere. We can’t wait to see the adventures you go on.

This is Brompton. Reinvented. 7.45 kg. Precision engineered titanium.
The entirely re-engineered T Line titanium frame weighs 37% less than our original all-steel equivalent and is just as strong.
At 7.45 kg in total, the T Line is comparable to a carbon road bike. Yet, it can be comfortably ridden by a 110kg rugby player. And withstand the punishing impact of the city.
Brompton ride dynamics have always made owners smile, and now they're elevated in every way.
Carbon cranks and cast Ti bottom bracket shift your power for a faster ride. Naturally, shock-absorbing titanium smooths out the road. The one-piece carbon fork and wider carbon handlebars make it stiffer and even more responsive. This is a serious machine that's seriously fun to ride.
